    “This place is Excellent!!!”

    Spent a weekend in the hotel from the 16th to the 19th of September. On arrival the hotel is slightly difficult to find from St. Marks square but it doesn’t take long after that to figure out where it is. The actual location of the hotel is perfect. On their website they say its 50m away from St. Marks square. Thats a bit of a lie because I reckon its less. Everything about this hotel is nice. From the second you walk into the reception area you get a nice warm homely feeling. The people who work there both behind reception and cleaners etc. are all extremely friendly. The rooms are small but cozy and comfy. As for previous comments about the hotel being a “FIRE TRAP”, give me a break. The majority of hotels in Venice are like that. If anything happened you have a fine big window to crawl through and bring you to safety. The breakfast was basic but nice. If the weather was nice then breakfast would be set up outdoors. All in all this hotel is small, cozy, clean, friendly and so close to St. Marks square its ridiculous. Hope anyone who decides to use this hotel has a very pleasant stay. We sure did :-)
