“Great location”
I read all of the reviews and was prepared to have a hard time finding this hotel. Our plan was to have the group wait with all of the luggage in St Mark’s square so they didnt have to lug it around while we found it. That was the best idea. Once we found the hotel we were able to get everyone there in one piece. The hotel is on the 2nd floor and you will need to tackle a lot of stairs and push past the tourists waiting to see the glass blowing. Once in the lobby you will be checked in pretty quickly. We loved our room – it was smaller for a Quad but very comfortable. Some might call gaudy but it was fun and kept us in that Venice feel. We also had access to the terrace which was where breakfast was served every morning. Our group often gathered there for happy hour and it was beautiful. The breakfast had the best cappaccino and espresso. You can’t beat the location and the price was right for a St. Marco location. I would recommend this hotel to others and would also return.
